Adjunct Faculty in the Doctor of Medial Science Program
Constance Burke (Coni), JD, PA-C joined the faculty in January 2022 as an adjunct professor and will be teaching the Healthcare Law course. She has 25 years of clinical experience in family practice, obesity management and health promotion and disease prevention. Professor Burke is currently a full-time faculty member in the PA program at Detroit Mercy teaching Clinical Medicine and continues to work part-time clinically in urgent care and wellness.
Professor Burke holds a BS, MS, and PA-C from the University of Detroit Mercy and most recently, a JD in 2017 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She recently completed a five-year term as the Academic Law Editor for the Journal of the Physician Assistant Education Association and serves as the co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee in the Detroit Mercy PA program.
