Tuition for the J Term will be charged on an hourly basis at the current rate of $510 per credit hour for undergraduate classes.
The College will generate bills for the J Term starting November 15 for all students who have registered for a J Term class at that time.
Payment will be due in full thirty days later on December 15.
We will continue to generate new bills on a daily basis after November 15 in order to bill students who register after the initial billing.
For students who register after the December 15 due date, payment will be due in full at the time of registration.
Payments may be made by cash, check or credit card. For your convenience, payments can also be made online by going to the College’s website at www.lynchburg.edu/payments.
Room and Board
Students who are living on campus for the fall and spring semester will be allowed to occupy their room during the three J Term residential weeks for a nominal room surcharge fee of $210 to cover the additional costs.
On Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 3-4 p.m., college housing closes for undergraduate students participating in J Term.
On Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 10 a.m., college housing opens for J Term participants only.
Beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2018, the Westover Room and Brewed Awakenings by The Muse will be open for J Term on the following days/hours:
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Brewed Awakenings by The Muse
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
On Friday, January 12, 2018, dining services will return to normal hours.
Students living in a traditional residence hall will be charged for a Hornet Plan for the term at a cost of $200. Unused funds from J Term will carry forward to spring 2018.
