Associate Professor
Dr. Archambault holds a Doctorate in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University. He received a Master of Health Science in PA Studies from Lock Haven University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, as well as a Teaching Certificate from Lycoming College in Williamsport Pennsylvania. Dr. Archambault brings to the DPAM many years of teaching, administrative, program development, and consulting experience. He served as a consultant to the LC DPAM during their first two ARC-PA provisional accreditation applications and site visits.
Dr. Archambault is nationally recognized for his program accreditation and faculty development expertise, as well as, scholarship in the area of evidence-based medicine. His roles as Department Editor for JAAPA and editorial board member for the Journal of Dermatology for the Physician Assistant (JDPA) have supported his ability to successfully mentor co-authored publications with faculty colleagues and several students. Prior awards include the “Honorary Katherine Society Award” and “Outstanding Contributions to the Class of 2011” presented by the Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Class of 2011. Dr. Archambault is an Associate Professor within the DPAM and will continue his support of DPAM faculty in the areas of accreditation and faculty development. He is a member of the DPAM research team. He works day-to-day as a core faculty member supporting the DMSc program and is excited to explore the development of an education track within the DMSc program.
