Associate Professor
Dr. Nancy Reid has been a practicing PA for 17 years. She graduated from Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She joined the United States Army as a medic and completed additional training as an orthopedic technician. She was accepted into the Interservice PA Program at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Science in PA Studies. She holds a Master of Science in PA Studies from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, Nebraska, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed a Doctor of Health Science with an emphasis in Global Health from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Reid has worked clinically in orthopedics, plastic surgery, and occupational medicine. In addition, she has worked with multiple surgeons as an independent surgical PA, performing first assistant duties. Dr. Reid has spent 8 years in PA education working with Mercer University and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a passion for caring for military members and veterans.
In her spare time, Dr. Reid enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and competing in super sprint and sprint triathlons. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Jason, and three children Emily, Andrew, and Lexi.
