What sparked your interest in physical therapy?
Growing up I played a lot of soccer, but I was always the injured kid. I was in and out of physical therapy constantly so that is where I learned to love the profession.
What’s the most exciting part of the DPT program?
The best part about this program is the atmosphere that everyone creates. We all wants to be here, including the professors, which makes day-to-day interactions with everyone so much more enjoyable. We’ve only been here a couple of months but I’ve already made some great friends that I expect to have for the rest of my life.
What do you hope to do with your degree?
I can’t say for certain what I am going to do but I have had a goal in mind. I hope to eventually own my own practice and combine physical therapy with strength and conditioning to help my patients to a greater extent.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love outdoor activities with friends like spike ball, cornhole, kan jam, or even a nice hike. I try to workout, run, and play soccer whenever I’m healthy as well.
