Medical Facilities of America is dedicated to our students’ success and wants to highlight students for their efforts! MFA has selected Meaghan Dullea as the Student of the Month for February.
Name: Meaghan Dullea
Hometown: Virginia Beach, Va.
Undergraduate degree and school: Exercise Science, VCU
What her professors are saying about her:
“Meaghan has always been a hard working student, but this semester she has demonstrated an increased amount of engagement in her learning. She is well prepared for class, is interactive in class, and is always willing to volunteer as a subject for in-class demonstrations. Meaghan also takes the time to seek out instructors individually outside of class, not just to get an answer to a question, but to really make sure she understands the concepts that are needed to be the excellent clinician she is striving to become.
This past month, Meaghan was the key student involved in planning LC DPT’s first alumni dinner at the American Physical Therapy Associations Combined Sections Meeting in Indianapolis. She planned an excellent event that over 75 people attended. Meaghan’s leadership and willingness to help her school and her fellow DPT colleagues reveals the strong character she has as a person and as a future leader in the profession of physical therapy. “
