What sparked your interest in physical therapy?
I was always interested in the healthcare industry and wanted to help others in any way I could. I worked in high school as a sports manager and was able to interact with athletes, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and orthopedic surgeons. After shadowing a PT, I was able to see that this is the best job I could have to help others return to their normal levels of functioning.
What’s the most exciting part of the DPT program?
Being able to learn from this diverse faculty has been the most exciting part so far. They have been inspiring to learn from and have pushed me to succeed greater than I thought I could.
What do you hope to do with your degree?
I am interested in orthopedic manual therapy but want to keep my options open. I am interested to learn more about pediatrics and sports as well.
What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, traveling, and watching sports and Netflix.
