Sara Indelicato ’24
Majoring in public relations with a minor in crisis communication, Sara Indelicato ’24 is currently the president of the Public Relations Student Society of America, president of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She is interested in a career in public relations focusing on social media management. At the University Research Center, Indelicato will perform an audience analysis on the knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs of University of Lynchburg undergraduate students on the role of research in their education, career, and professional development. In addition, she will lead a group of student volunteers in the University of Lynchburg and Centra Health’s collaboration on the upcoming 2024 Community Health Needs Assessment.
Cassandra Latyak ’24
Cassandra (Cassie) Latyak ’24 is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications with an electronic media emphasis and a minor in pop culture. Cassandra is currently a part of the Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honors Society, the University of Lynchburg’s Dance Works, and a photographer for Lynchburg Hornets Sports Network (LHSN). Her role as an intern at the Research Center is the Center’s social media and communications director. Outside of the academic world, Cassandra has worked as a social media coordinator for a small business in her hometown. She has also started her own photography business, specializing in transformative documentary-styled photography. At the end of her time at Lynchburg, Cassandra hopes to move down south and focus on her photography career full-time.
