Some students choose to take additional courses during the summer at University of Lynchburg or at another college or university (known as “out of residence study”).
The most common reasons are to complete a degree faster, reduce the amount of courses you must take during fall or spring semester, or to take advantage of special programs in the summer, such as study abroad or internships.
