Lynchburg College is currently seeking applications for a full-time Textbook Purchasing Agent/Assistant Manager for its Campus Store.
Responsibilities include obtaining course material information from faculty; ordering and managing textbook inventory; processing invoice payments and credits. Responsible for accurate listing of textbooks in course offerings online & MyLC for student enrollment as well as online student order fulfillment. Trained in all operations of campus store.
Must have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Computer data entry, and communication/customer service skills required. The ability to multi-task and work independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment, meeting required deadlines is required. Retail and higher education experience with a 2 or 4 year degree preferred. Some weekend shifts required. The selected candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
