Lynchburg College is seeking a resourceful individual with superior interpersonal, written, organizational, and relationship-building skills for the position of Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. The successful candidate will manage the alumni relations outreach and communications including serving as a web liaison, oversight of all e-mail and social media, print and electronic invitations, data tracking, and strategic development and oversight of the communications. Will assist and often direct event execution and volunteer management for on campus programming. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google platforms, Facebook and Instagram with experience in Raiser’s Edge software preferred. Must be a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills. Some nights and weekend work required.
Bachelor’s degree required, 2 plus years of experience in higher education. The individual must be able to work independently and as a supporting team member in a deadline-driven environment and must be able to plan and implement multiple projects simultaneously.
