Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant for the new College of Health Sciences. Normal work hours are 37.5 hours per week.
Working closely with the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, the position requires administrative assistant experience, and strong oral, written, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to handle multiple priorities paying close attention to detail and accuracy. Must have proficient skills in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, iOS and Windows 10 operating systems; certification or commitment of certification is preferred. Experience with data management programs (e.g., Moodle, student management systems, ExamSoft). The ability to troubleshoot general computer issues (wi-fi, software, memory, and power issues) is preferred. Previous education in team-oriented processes, conflict management, and other related areas. Previous customer service experience and experience in health education fields are preferred.
Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and requires independent organizational skills and the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders under pressure. Selected candidate must pass a pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
