The Department of Sociology and Human Services in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Lynchburg College invites applications for a full-time (4-4 teaching load), three-year appointment (possible conversion to tenure-track) in Sociology to begin Fall 2018. We seek a dynamic, broadly-trained sociologist who can teach in the areas of social inequality and research methods. The ability to teach courses in the area of Human Services is a plus.
Applicants should have a PhD in Sociology, though ABDs will be considered. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment is essential.
