Lynchburg College invites applications for a regular part-time, non-tenure track position in French. The successful candidate will be committed to excellent liberal arts teaching and dedicated to teaching a range of undergraduate French courses, from beginning to advanced courses. We seek a collaborative colleague who is committed to outstanding teaching in a culture-focused program. Willingness to lead study abroad courses is a plus. Innovative approaches to teaching language, literature, and culture are also highly valued.
Candidates must have PhD in hand by time of appointment and have a native or near-native fluency in French and English. The successful candidate will teach a 3-3 load and will be benefits eligible. Selected candidate must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
