Samaritan’s Feet International
President Morrison-Shetlar’s first official day on Aug. 1 was spent volunteering in downtown Lynchburg with her favorite nonprofit, Samaritan’s Feet International. Along with faculty and students in the Master of Nonprofit Leadership Studies program at the University of Lynchburg, the president handed out shoes and socks to 400 local children.

Sewcial Hornets
A passionate servant leader, President Morrison-Shetlar wasted no time getting involved on campus. With Prof. Price Blair and hundreds of “Sewcial Hornets” from across the country, she helped sew 10,000 face masks for students, faculty, and staff in June and July 2020.
