Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Advocacy and Prevention Education
Throughout the year, the University of Lynchburg provides educational programs for students, faculty, and staff members regarding issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This includes educational sessions on sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. This prevention education is often administered through online modules sent directly to students, faculty, and staff through email from the Office of Equity and Inclusion. Questions about online modules can be emailed directly to oeiprogramming@lynchburg.edu.
In addition to online diversity, equity, inclusion and prevention education modules, staff in the Office of Equity and Inclusion facilitate ongoing workshops throughout the year. These workshops are typically promoted via email to the campus community.
OEI staff members are available to provide educational sessions on a variety of related topics when requested. If you would like to request a diversity session for your department, student group, or staff team, please fill out the following Diversity Education request form. Please complete this form at least two weeks prior to the needed session(s).
