The University of Lynchburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Student Philanthropy Coordinator in the Office of Advancement. The Coordinator oversees the Student Philanthropy Ambassador Program, a group of 15 – 20 students who work to raise awareness about the importance of philanthropy and ask constituents to make annual participatory gifts to the support the institution. This position is part-time and req. working 5 evenings per week (Sun – Thurs). A Bachelor’s degree is also preferred. Experience in fundraising, marketing, or related area, communication and management of volunteers is preferred. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
