The University of Lynchburg is seeking professionals who desire a part-time position working in higher education recruitment. The following regions that are open include: Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; Northern Virginia; Tidewater, Virginia; Montgomery County, Maryland; Central New Jersey. A preference is given toward professionals who have worked with students and their parents during the college search process. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with families and guide them through the admissions process. This professional will work in partnership with a designated admissions counselor for the assigned territory September through April.
Additional important qualities include: goal and results oriented, familiar use of computer software applications, available for limited travel in regional area, excellent presentation and communication skills, work independently and with teams of colleagues. A bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license are required. Candidates must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
