University of Lynchburg in Virginia is accepting applications for a graduate assistant coach in the sport of Women’s Basketball. This is a nine-month position. The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of their respective program, which include practice design and implementation, recruiting, scouting reports, video review, and on the court coaching. Candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic mission of the University. Other job related duties as assigned by the head coach and Athletic Director. The compensation and benefits package includes tuition waiver and a stipend.
University of Lynchburg is a private co-educational liberal arts institution located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lynchburg is a Division III institution and is a charter member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program at the University of Lynchburg. All candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with all members of the campus community.
