University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a graduate assistant throws coach in the men’s and women’s track and field program. This nine month position runs from August 7, 2017 to May 31, 2018. The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, including assisting daily coaching and planning practices, and recruiting qualified student athletes to the program. Candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic mission of the University. Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program at University of Lynchburg. The compensation and benefits package includes tuition waiver and a stipend.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program at University of Lynchburg. All candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with all members of the Lynchburg community. Selected candidate must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
