The University of Lynchburg invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Domestic and International Admissions.
The Associate Director of Domestic and International Admissions will report to the Director of Admissions in the Office of Enrollment Services. The primary focus of this position will be to create and execute initiatives and strategies to recruit undergraduate students both in new domestic markets and internationally. This experienced professional must have the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate recruitment strategies based on market analysis. Direct recruitment responsibilities include interaction with students, parents and school professionals, through travel, campus visits, and phone, email and appropriate social media. Evaluating admissions applications and making recommendations on admission decisions is a part of weekly activities. This professional must also have the interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with campus colleagues on a host of programs and initiatives.
Experience and knowledge of foreign credentials including VISA documentation and the SEVIS processes are required. Speaking Spanish is also a desired qualification. A bachelor’s degree is required and experience, with successful results, working in domestic and international admissions field is highly desirable, and the ability to travel.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic enrollment team committed to achieving Vision 2020+ goals. This professional will have the opportunity to assess, expand and build a domestic and international recruitment plan. Our enrollment team values a high level of collaboration campus-wide.
