University of Lynchburg in Virginia is accepting applications for a full time assistant coach in men’s lacrosse. The position begins immediately. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the head coach with practice/game preparation and coaching, individual skill development, recruiting quality student-athletes, scouting, video editing, coordination of team travel, assist with fund-raising activities, monitoring student/athletes academic progress, in addition to administrative tasks and day-to-day responsibilities of the program. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills and competence with technology resources are vital to fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
University of Lynchburg is a highly successful NCAA Division III institution and charter member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. The University of Lynchburg is a private coeducational liberal arts institution located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree is preferred. Competitive playing and coaching experience at the college level is preferred. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
