The University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant for the School of Physical Therapy. This position provides administrative and database management functions requiring administrative assistant experience and strong organizational and communication skills. Candidate must be proficient in the use of personal computers and database management systems. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments; working with students, staff, faculty, and the department chair; maintaining equipment inventory and supplies; ordering equipment, supplies, and marketing material; budget oversight; maintaining records and minutes during meetings; assisting the clinical education team; maintaining web pages; planning and assisting with special events; and completing other related tasks assigned by supervisors. Must be a self-starter, committed to accurate work, and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities. Post high school education in business or secretarial related field and computer skills are preferred. Candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
