The University of Lynchburg invites applications for a visiting full-time non-tenure track one-year position in International Relations and Security Studies beginning Fall 2019. The successful candidate will teach a 4-4 load and be benefits eligible. We seek an individual with the ability to teach one or more of the following: the Middle East, South Asia, Asia Pacific, the Global South, and security politics broadly defined.
Applicants should have a PhD in Political Science or International Relations, though ABDs may be considered. Teaching experience and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment is essential. Appointment contingent upon the completion of a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
