We invite applications for a full time, tenure track position in Reading and Curriculum and Instruction beginning fall 2019. Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of reading and teacher preparation that may include online instruction. Additional responsibilities include advising, school and campus-wide committee assignments, scholarly activity, and service to the community.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Reading or in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Concentration. The selected candidate must be licensed as a Reading Specialist. Teaching experience in a K-12 classroom and online teaching experience are preferable. The University of Lynchburg is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
