The University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a Network Server Support Specialist to join our team. The full-time position will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the University’s network servers and switches. The position is also responsible for Active Directory and VPN support.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, server virtualization, and configuring network switches are required. Experience with Linux operating system or Juniper switches is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with an ability to effectively communicate with a variety of technical levels are important. Minimum of two years of college or technical courses — or equivalent work experience — required.
