The University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a full-time Director of Institutional Research and Analytics for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning.
Responsibilities include leadership for the development of analytics, data analysis, external reporting, the generation of customized reports for internal decision-making, assistance with survey research and special projects, maintenance of the University fact book and dashboards, as well as support for strategic planning, assessment, and accreditation activities. Expertise and proficiency with relational databases, data visualization software, Excel, statistical analysis and research methods, and data governance practices is critical. Candidates must demonstrate an attention to detail as well as the ability to engage colleagues in data improvement and analytics projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills across units is necessary. Experience in higher education and a master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Successful candidates must pass a background check.
