The University of Lynchburg is accepting applications for a Director of Enrollment and Operations within the Graduate, Global, Professional, and Nontraditional Studies unit. The successful candidate will report directly to the Associate Provost/Dean of Graduate, Global, Professional, and Nontraditional Studies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending, designing, and implementing a strategic plan to ensure that all applicants have a positive admissions experience. The candidate will also assist in building a strong communication and marketing plan for graduate and professional studies. Demonstrated ability to utilize Slate is preferred. If the best candidate does not have experience with Slate, the candidate will be expected to learn the system, with support from the University, as quickly as possible.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution; master’s degree preferred. Preference will be given to someone with experience working in admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management in a post-secondary setting. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communications skills including the use of social media, and a willingness to collaborate and work as a member of a team.
This is a full-time twelve-month position. Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidates must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
