University of Lynchburg is now accepting applications for a Director, Graduate Student Recruitment. This full-time position reports to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (Graduate). Primary responsibilities include development, planning, and coordination of graduate student recruitment in support of the University’s strategic plan. This position is also responsible for the processing of graduate student applications including: data entry, folder preparation, and folder distribution and filing systems for maintaining applications and related materials. These duties include travelling up to 50% of the time. Other duties include developing marketing materials to promote graduate programs, assisting with on-campus programming, assisting with the implementation of the recruitment plan for prospective students, and facilitating campus visits for students and other constituents.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations through a variety of mediums including telephone and email. Ideal candidates will have experience with a CRM database and should be proficient with Microsoft Office. Candidate should poses strong presentation skills, the ability to work independently and the ability to quickly obtain a thorough understanding of University of Lynchburg degree offerings. A Master’s degree in business or a related field is required. Doctoral Degree is preferred.
