The University of Lynchburg is currently seeking applicants for a full-time catering manager for dining services. This position includes excellent benefits such as retirement, insurance, paid time off and tuition remission and a competitive wage. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; ensuring a positive experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University for catered events and student dining operations, actively supervising the catering supervisors, staff, and student employees. Responsible for converting all catering requests into Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and ensuring they are typed and posted. Generates invoices after each catered event and completes end-of-the-month catering spreadsheets. The position requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior restaurant management experience preferred.
