The College of Business at the University of Lynchburg invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics at the assistant/associate professor level to begin fall 2021. The ideal candidate will have specializations in macroeconomics and international economics/finance. In addition, high-quality candidates should be able to teach other courses as needed for the department and the College of Business. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and who strives for teaching excellence in support of the institution’s liberal arts mission. Scholarship leading to peer-reviewed publication is expected. A PhD in economics is required. Applicants who also have graduate coursework in business and finance will be preferred. Selected candidates must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
