Dress Code – Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies: Commencement is a formal event, and graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable business casual attire appropriate for warm weather in addition to their University of Lynchburg cap, gown and degree hood.
Graduate One Stop is your opportunity to ensure that you’re on track to graduate. The Registrar, Business Office, Financial Aid, Academic & Career Services, Graduate Studies, Alumni Relations, and Senior Gift Campaign will all be on-hand to make sure you’ve got everything covered in time for graduation. After completing your required paperwork, you may order your regalia (cap, gown, tassel and degree hood).
Wednesday, February 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Westroom of the Drysdale Student Center, 3rd floor.
Health Science Graduates in PA, DPT, and DMSc programs are not required to attend the Graduate One Stop event. They should contact their program areas for instructions on how to order their regalia (cap, gown, and degree hood).
The University campus is currently closed to contain the spread of COVID-19. The Cap’n It Off event has been canceled.
On Thursday prior to Commencement, undergraduate students will meet on the Dell for rehearsal and then assemble on Shellenberger field for the senior class photo.
Once you’ve got that diploma in-hand, you’ll be welcomed into the University of Lynchburg alumni family. Be sure to visit the Alumni Association web page to stay connected as you begin the next phase of your life away from the Dell.
