Accessible Seating and Parking
An accessible seating section will be available for individuals with disabilities or mobility restrictions. A drop-off area for accessible seating will be available until 8:45 a.m. Families are advised to arrive early to avoid heavy traffic and to secure accessible parking and seating. Campus Safety and Security will be directing traffic on the morning of Commencement and guiding guests to available parking. Accessible parking lots are located near Carnegie Hall, Hopwood Hall, and the Psychology Building, and drop off is also available between Hopwood Hall and Carnegie Hall.
The main entrance of the University will serve as the point of entry for accessible parking and drop offs. There will be signage and security personnel available for guidance. Accessible restroom facilities will be available nearby. A section of seating for accessibility will be available, but seats are not individually reserved. Seating in the reserved area is first come, first served.
Commencement will also be live-streamed to large screens and/or monitors in certain air conditioned and accessible facilities on campus for those guests who require a temperature controlled environment.
American Sign Language
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided at both the Baccalaureate Service and Commencement.
