Woody McKenzie, Ph.D.

My work is concerned with encouraging teachers and pre-service teachers to engage in more inquiry-based instruction. This is typically done through independent studies where students are able to implement their ideas in classrooms. I am also interested in encouraging general science literacy for non-science majors. I have been associated with SENCER (http://www.sencer.net/), an NSF funded initiative for about seven years now.
