Understanding the human knee
My research has involved measuring the mechanical properties of human knee ligaments. Questions that I would like to answer involve the difference in the structural properties of female ligaments compared to male ligaments and if the stiffness of human ligaments changes as we age.
Recently I have been researching clinical education issues, specifically the characteristics that make clinical instructors valuable to our program. I have also worked with student research projects in other areas linked to athletic training and find working with students rewarding.
