Lynchburg College senior Andy Rollins (Ooltewah, TN/McCallie) earned All-American honors at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Nationals, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  Rollins took seventh place in the pole vault, clearing 15’9 1/4" to capture All-American accolades for the first time in his career. Peter Sprecher from Monmouth College won the event (16’ 3 1/4").

Three Lynchburg College Hornets were honored with the release of the 2007 USILA Division III Men’s Lacrosse All-American Team.

Ryan Cranston (West Chester, PA/Henderson) earned a second-team All-American award.  Recently named first-team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), the junior midfielder, was second on the squad with 31 goals and 50 points (19 assists). He led LC with nine tallies with a man advantage.

Brandon Fell (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) received third-team A-A accolades. Another first-team all-conference honoree, he anchored a Lynchburg backline that allowed just 7.88 goals per game. The senior defender scooped 36 ground balls.

Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield), a sophomore attack, was named as an honorable mention All-American.  He was second in the ODAC with 57 goals and third with 61 points.
