Travis Wray Places 12th in NCAA 1,500

OSHKOSH, WI – Lynchburg College’s Travis Wray (Newburg, MD/LaPlata) took 12th-place Saturday in the 1,500-meters at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, falling shy of earning All-American honors. The Championships were hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Wray ran a 3:57.97 in the finals of the event. Will Leer from Pomona-Pitzer won the 1,500 in 3:53.13.
