Andy Rollins Earns All-American Honors

OSHKOSH, WI – Lynchburg College senior Andy Rollins (Ooltewah, TN/McCallie) earned All-American honors Friday at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Nationals, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Rollins took seventh place in the pole vault, clearing 15’9 1/4" to capture All-American accolades for the first time in his career. Peter Sprecher from Monmouth College won the event (16’ 3 1/4").

Lynchburg junior Travis Wray (Newburg, MD/LaPlata) will get his shot to join Rollins with an All-American award Saturday at 1:20 in the finals of the 1,500-meter run.
