The Center for Economic Education at Lynchburg College hosted the 2006-07 Economic Education Awards Reception to honor outstanding Stock Market Game™ participants from each of Central Virginia’s school divisions, teacher award winners, and other significant contributions to economic education on May 22 in Sydnor Performance Hall, Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall.

The Center for Economic Education at Lynchburg College promotes economic literacy in Central Virginia, with a special emphasis on K-12 teachers. Innovative, SOL-compliant economic education resources and training opportunities are provided for teachers to develop students into competent, productive participants in the local and global economy.

The Center for Economic Education at Lynchburg College is one of 10 active Centers in Virginia, under the governance of the Virginia Council on Economic Education and the National Council on Economic Education.
