For immediate release – 5/9/2007 - #348 Three Lynchburg Baseball Players on All-ODAC Team
SALEM, VA – Three Lynchburg College baseball players were named to the 2007 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) team Wednesday, including Kyle Bradley (Brookneal, VA/William Campbell) on the first team.
Bradley, a sophomore second baseman, led the team and was third in the conference with a .407 average. He posted a .487 on-base percentage (with 13 walks and was hit by 10 pitches) and tied for second on the squad with 35 runs. He started all 41 games and made just five errors.
Junior shortstop Ronnie LaBrie (Vinton, VA/Staunton River) was named to the second team. He ranked in the top five in nine different conference statistical categories, including ranking first in runs (44) and triples, second in RBI (42) and total bases, third in slugging percentage (.649), fourth in batting average (.390) and stolen bases and fifth in on-base percentage (.463). Senior pitcher Jason Kelly (Colonial Heights, VA/Colonial Heights) received an honorable mention to the all-conference squad. He led the ODAC with 88 strikeouts and ended the year 7-5 with a 4.52 ERA.
