Garrett Curran Named ODAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week

Garrett CurranSALEM, VA – Lynchburg College junior goalie Garrett Curran (Hull, MA/Tabor Academy) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week of April 30.

Curran made 18 saves Saturday as the 12th-ranked Hornets defeated #17 Washington & Lee 12-3. He allowed just one goal in the first 44 minutes of play to help Lynchburg take a commanding 10-1 lead. Curran made five stops Tuesday as LC defeated Marymount University 19-8.

For the season, Curran has a 12-3 record with a 7.72 goals-against average and a 61 percent save percentage. He notched one goal and leads the squad with 69 ground balls.

The Hornets (12-3/4-2 ODAC) will travel to Hampden-Sydney College on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the opening round of the ODAC Championship Tournament.
