2008-09: Distance star for the Hornets . . . one of the top mile and 5000 meter runners in the nation . . . finished fifth at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 14.35.87 . . . owned the league's top mile, 3000 and 5000 meter top times . . . won the mile and 5000 meter events at the ODAC Championship meet . . . holder of the top mile and 5000 meter times in LC Indoor history.
2007-08: Outdoor: Fared well at the ODAC meet, winning the 5000 meters in 15:27 and coming in second in the 1500 in 4:03.09. Indoor: Dominated the distance events at the ODAC meet, finishing first in the mile run (4:20.69) and the 5000 meter run (15:25.40)...best finsih on the season in the 5000 meters was 15:04:05.
2006-07: Indoor: In the 1600 meter run he ran 4:25.08. In the 3000 meter run he ran 8:44.82, and he ran 15:20.30 in the 5000 meters. Outdoor: Ran 14:40.08 in the 5000 meter run. Other: Placed first in the 5000 meter run, and second in the mile run at the Indoor ODAC championship, also earned Athlete of the meet at the Indoor ODAC championship.
Personal: Son of Richard and Deborah Flynn . . . has one brother, Brian, who starred at LC as a member of the cross country and track and field squads . . . Academic All-American . . . Dean's List honoree.
