W&L Defeats Lynchburg Women’s Lacrosse 21-4

LEXINGTON, VA – The top-seeded Washington & Lee women’s lacrosse team defeated Lynchburg College Saturday afternoon 21-4 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament semifinals.

Nichole Locher (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) scored twice for LC, and Deana Welsch (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) and Kathryn Ollice (West Chester, PA/West Chester) each had one score.

Megan Slosson netted five goals for the Generals (13-3), and Kelsi Robinson posted three goals and two assists. Colleen Evans, Avery Lovejoy and Britten Matthews each had three goals. W&L out shot LC 38-12.

Lynchburg finishes the 2007 season 8-10.
