Hornet Golf Finishes Sixth at ODACs

AMHERST, VA – The Lynchburg College golf team finished strong on the third and final day of play to take sixth-place at the three-day Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament held at the Poplar Grove Golf Course.

Lynchburg shot a team score of 304 Monday, and were just one stroke behind fifth-place. Michael Butzgy (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) paced the Hornets with a 74, Thomas Pitts (Tallahassee, FL/Leon) finished with a 75 and Jason Early (Radnor, PA/Radnor) carded a 77. Ryan White (Round Hill, VA/Loudoun Valley) had a 78 and Greg Hanlon (Clifton, VA/Paul VI) ended play with an 84.
