Hornet Men Compete at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men’s outdoor track and field team competed Saturday at Liberty University.

Freshman Chris Word (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) ran an 11.26 in the 100-meter dash and a 22.32 in the 200, while Will Tolbert (Missouri City, TX/Hightower) finished the 100 in 11.44. Brandon Edwards finished the 400 in 50.49 and Bryan Kirby (Alexandria, VA/Edison) ran an 800 in 1:57.75. Travis Wray (Newburg, MD/La Plata) ran the 1,500 in 3:57.49.

Lynchburg competes next weekend at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, VA.
