Hornet Softball Ranked #20 in Latest NFCA Poll

STARKVILLE, MS – The Lynchburg College softball team’s strong start to the 2007 campaign has earned the Hornets some national recognition. LC is ranked 20th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), dated March 21.

The Hornets are 15-3 this season (2-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference), and won seven-straight games before splitting a non-conference twin bill with Christopher Newport University on Tuesday. Lynchburg has wins over Plattsburgh State (ranked #14) and Rowan (#25) already in 2007.

LC travels to Emory & Henry Saturday for an ODAC doubleheader at 2 p.m.
