Lynchburg Track Competes at Va. Tech Last Chance Meet

BLACKSBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College indoor track and field team finished its regular schedule Saturday at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Meet.

Earl Graves (Richmond, VA/Heritage) ran the 200 meters in 23.11, Travis Wray (Newburg, MD/La Plata) had a personal-best of 4:19.92 in the mile while Ricky Flynn (Gaithersburg, MD/Damascus) also recorded a personal best of 15:08.09 in the 5,000. The 4x400-meter relay team of Brandon Edwards, Wil Tolbert (Missouri City, TX/Hightower), Chris Word (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) and Graves finished just four-tenths of a second off qualifying for national competition in 3:19.34.

The NCAA Division III Nationals will be held this weekend at Terra Haute, IN.
