Hornet Track Runs at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College indoor track and field team competed Saturday at the Virginia Tech Challenge.

The LC 4x400-meter relay team of Will Tolbert (Missouri City, TX/Hightower), Earl Graves (Richmond, VA/Hermitage), Brandon Edwards (Tolland, CT/Lamis Chaffe) and Chris Word (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) finished in 3:21.72. Other highlights included Travis Wray (Newburg, MD/La Plata) and Ricky Flynn (Gaithersburg, MD/Damascus) running 4:20.23 and 4:25.78 respectively, in the mile and Robert Jackson finishing the 400-meter dash in 50.99.

The Hornet men and women will enter the 2007 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship Meet this Saturday at Liberty University.
