ASHLAND, VA – Freshman center Molly Ariall scored a game-high 23 points Friday evening to push the Randolph-Macon College women’s basketball to a 83-58 win over Lynchburg College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.
Freshman guard Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) paced Lynchburg with 15 points and four steals and senior center Caroline Wesley (Baltimore, MD/Notre Dame) netted 14 with five rebounds. Amy Terry (Dublin, VA/Pulaski County) scored nine points and Chevonne Booker (Richmond, VA/Thomas Jefferson) had six points.
Ariall grabbed 10 rebounds to go with her game-high point total for Randolph-Macon (20-4/17-2 ODAC). Amanda Hiltunen scored 18 points and Nicole Childress added 14. The Yellow Jackets out rebounded the Hornets 48-35.
Lynchburg (7-17/7-12 ODAC) travels to Washington & Lee University Saturday for another ODAC game at 5 p.m.
