Lynchburg Equestrian Captures Fourth Place in the RMWC and LC IHSA Show

LYNCHBURG, VA – Lynchburg College junior Erin Skog (West Chester, PA/Villa Maria) finished in first place in the intermediate flat competition and fourth in novice fences to help lead the Hornets to a fourth place finish with 29 points in the RMWC and LC IHSA Show on Friday.

Freshman Jessica Elliott (Brentwood, NH/Stoneliegh Burnham) placed fifth in the open flat competition and sixth in open fences. Freshman Caitlin Flathers (Rixeyville, VA) captured second place in novice flat and freshman Lauren Kasnet (Exeter, NH/Stoneliegh Burnham) finished second in intermediate fences. Freshman Krystal Darville (Nassau, Bahamas/St. Andrews) finished third in the walk, trot, canter and junior Melissa Fairfield (Forest, VA/Jefferson Forest) placed fifth in novice fences.

The Hornets next compete on Saturday, February 17, in Harrisonburg, VA, in the Bridgewater IHSA show.
